Hamilton’s fish is by far the freshest I’ve tasted since my childhood (long time ago) when we lived on the South coast and bought it from the fishermen on the beach. Absolutely delicious as always and a lot of it didn’t get as far as the freezer!

Is your fish fresh or frozen?

All of our seafood is delivered fresh and never previously frozen.

We source fish specifically for your order based on your chosen delivery date, meaning it is prepared fresh by our fishmongers and sent out at its best quality.

This approach allows us to offer seafood that is noticeably fresher than typical supermarket fish.

Where does your fish come from?

Much of our wild fish is sourced daily from Brixham Fish Market on the South West coast, where we buy directly from the auction.

Depending on the species and season, we may also source fish from other British ports to ensure excellent quality and availability throughout the year.

Can I choose my delivery date?

Yes. At checkout you can select your preferred delivery day.

We dispatch orders Tuesday to Friday, allowing you to plan meals, special occasions or weekend cooking with confidence.

How is the fish packaged for delivery?

All seafood is vacuum packed and clearly labelled to maintain freshness.

Our orders are carefully packed in insulated boxes with eco-friendly wool liners and chilled gel packs to keep everything fresh in transit.

Can I freeze the fish?

Yes - all of our fresh fish is suitable for freezing at home for up to 3 months.

For best results, freeze on the day of delivery. Each product includes clear guidance on the label.

What makes Hamiltons Fish different?

We do not hold stock. Instead, we source and prepare your fish specifically for your order based on your selected delivery date.

This means the fish you receive is exceptionally fresh and carefully prepared by experienced fishmongers.

Do you deliver seafood nationwide?

Yes - we offer nationwide delivery across the UK mainland.

Our orders are sent with DPD and include tracking and a 1 hour delivery time slot so you know exactly when your order will arrive.
