HakeWith its firm and flaky flesh and its subtle flavour it's no wander it is referred to as "the king of the fish" in Spain. It can be used in many different ways and is a good alternative to Cod and Haddock.
Wild caught using sustainable methods and filleted by hand it is becoming more and more popular every year.
Available most of the year round. There can sometimes be a delay waiting for the Hake boats to land as we don't currently have a daily landing of Hake at Brixham Fish market.
